Curvature Comparison

Three space forms side by side: the sphere S² (K = +1), the Euclidean plane ℝ² (K = 0), and the hyperbolic plane H² (K = −1). All geodesics start from the same base point in the same fan of directions. Curvature controls whether neighbouring geodesics eventually converge, stay parallel, or diverge.
